Boeing used to own Wichita. Now it’s Koch Industries’ turn.
CEOs, company executives, city managers and baseball players have contracts. What is the problem with the American workers having unions so they can have contracts?
The new right-to-work law in Michigan doesn’t say you can’t belong to a union. I have been in the Machinists union for 33 years because I feel if the union represents me, I should pay dues. But I would not like it if I had to join so I could work.
Where are the media with the leftists in Michigan threatening “there will be blood”? As usual, the media hear no evil, see no evil and only speak evil of conservatives.
President Johnson pledged that his “War on Poverty” would make people self-sufficient. Instead, people raised on government-provided goodies are more dependent than ever before. It is teaching recipients they can get something for nothing.
President Obama’s spending is the cause of our fiscal cliff. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid should be fired, so the Senate can vote on bills passed by the House and maybe get its budget completed.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is whining about Congress being home for Christmas. When you get the job done you were elected to do, then you can go home. Not one second before that.
So Gov. Sam Brownback will fight obesity and illiteracy in 2013. Taxing fat cats and restoring childhood education funding would be good first steps.
Brownback is promoting a weight-loss contest for obesity while local charities are begging for donations to cover the high demand and low supply of food. For a true challenge, why not require contestants to survive on the diets and available food supply relegated to the needy?
Brownback wants to fight obesity in Kansas. Michelle Obama wants to fight childhood obesity. Can Brownback admit that a liberal, left-wing Democrat might have an idea worth pursuing?
So, is Michael O’Donnell really dishonest or just dumb?
O’Donnell appears to have no scruples and adheres to an ends-justifies-the-means mentality. I predict he will be the next rock star of the Republican Party.
How about freedom from the Freedom From Religion Foundation?
