Our federal government would have to win the current Powerball jackpot 38,590 times to pay off the national debt, and you certainly cannot blame more than a small amount of that debt on President Obama.

Wow – it’s nice to see people have so much money to spend on Black Friday, considering that Obama has ruined the economy. With so many Americans on food stamps, I wouldn’t think they’d have money to spend on Black Friday.

I’ll stop whining about Obama when he starts dealing with all the business he has neglected the past four years. You liberals think he is so smart and way ahead of his time, and the only thing I’ve seen is him traveling the world having a ball.

Was Obama’s large picture on The Eagle’s front page for my dartboard?

The Republicans couldn’t buy the election, so now they want to secede. I am here to stay. I am an American and believe in the system. Sorry, Koch brothers, Fox News and Karl Rove – this is one election you could not buy.

The Republicans have sent our jobs overseas. If they want to secede from the U.S., they can move overseas, too. I have always supported the person who won the presidential election, whether I voted for him or not. The Republicans are a bunch of losers. I am a American first and proud of it, and I respect the decision Americans made in the presidential election.

I don’t think secession can be done peacefully. You’ve heard the slogan “Don’t mess with Texas.”

All of you red Republicans really should get over it. Obama won. What you should be embarrassed about is the Republican governor we have. I hope the whole nation isn’t watching his temper tantrums. Now that’s embarrassing.

I just got a notice from Social Security that I will receive a 1.7 percent cost-of-living increase. That would have helped, but the notice also said I will pay an increased Medicare premium. I came out $39 a month behind on the deal. That’s a week’s worth of groceries. Some cost-of-living increase.

Sen. Jerry Moran, as chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, should personally lead an outreach program describing our principles to Mexicans and African-Americans. This has never been done. Moran simply raising campaign funds isn’t enough.

How ironic is this? Fox News has more comedy than Comedy Central and Comedy Central has more news than Fox.

The passing of Larry Hagman truly made for a “Black Friday.”
