I keep hearing about how Israel is slaughtering innocent civilians with its missile attacks. But according to all news reports, Hamas started this mess by firing missiles into southern Israel. Do you really think Hamas picked and chose its targets so no civilians would be killed?

The Palestinians have fired hundreds of rockets at Israel for many months. Rockets supplied by Iran. That was largely ignored by the news media. Why is it newsworthy only when Israel defends itself? How many rocket attacks on the U.S. would it take for you to expect the U.S. military to respond?

Obamacare is no gift. I received a letter this week from my health insurance company informing me my coverage will cost me at least $2,000 more next year. I hope all the Obamacare supporters get their “gift” in time to eat it with their holiday turkey.

Sen. Lindsey Graham is making a lot of “I want to be president” noise over the Benghazi situation. The twang in his voice is directly proportional to the trumped-up nature of his charges, and in this case he’s been as twangy as a Southern TV evangelist.

People are not going to like what is going to happen during the next four years.

We should vote to make Los Angeles and New York City secede from the U.S. The rest of the country voted for Mitt Romney.

Considering the prevalence of infidelity, the attack on David Petraeus looks more like an assassination than an expose. The question is, who is doing it and why?

Hey, what happened to all the purple that people were wearing just last week? It’s the definition of fair-weather fans. Too funny – going from arrogantly puffed-up “we know football” to “K-Who” with one loss to an unranked team. Made my weekend and week.

Maybe K-State has too many liberals on the team, so they were beaten by the Baptists from Baylor. It was God’s will.

The K-State cats choked, as predicted. Have to love it.

I love free enterprise and capitalism. However, I will not be shopping anywhere on Thanksgiving Day. I think employees should be able to spend that whole day with their friends and families. No, I don’t work for any of the big-box companies, so I don’t have anything personal to gain from this point of view. Just self-respect.

Please keep your kids and or grandkids out of television commercials when a person can’t understand what they are saying.
