Instead of sending wind-energy jobs overseas, let’s send Rep. Tim Huelskamp out of the country and have Rep. Mike Pompeo carry his bags.
Pompeo’s true colors were revealed in his comment about the layoffs at Siemens. He is a job destroyer, not a job creator.
Never miss a local story.
Would someone tell QuikTrip the hurricane is over and oil is pumping in the Gulf again? It can at least lower the gas prices to what they were before the artificial shortage came about.
I hope all you voters who call yourselves Catholic will not vote for President Obama. He is declaring war on you and all things Catholic.
Thirty years after the right to life movement joined the GOP to eliminate abortion, abortion is still legal but corporations now have the rights of people. The right to life movement would have done better with the Democrats. Just look at the gains the environmentalists have made during the same period.
George W. Bush and his cronies dug the grave and built the coffin for the Republican Party, and now Mitt Romney is nailing down the lid.
Do we want a colossal welfare state under Obama, or the American dream with Romney?
Romney’s biggest problem is that he has no experience in liberal Chicago-style politics. He is just too nice of a person to get down and dirty like Obama and his administration.
Romney has finally admitted what the Republican Party stands for. It cares nothing about the poor, the handicapped and the elderly, only the rich and powerful.
My Democratic friends are having a grand time making fun of Romney’s quote about the 47 percent. Romney is well-known for his prolific random acts of kindness and generosity. My friends have yet to find an example of Obama’s random kindness and generosity. Could it be because there is none?
Romney is outspoken against the distribution of wealth. I don’t know why, as he distributed his wealth to banks in Switzerland, the Caymans and other places.
A quote from the now well-known video by Romney that has been overlooked: “If the Hispanic voting bloc becomes as committed to the Democrats as the African-American voting bloc in the past, why, we’re in trouble as a party and, I think, as a nation.” Really? How sad.
Note the innumerable times newspapers refer to “right-wing extremists,” versus the total absence of references to “left-wing extremists.”
