It’s hot and dry, and we’re in a drought. Yet I still see drivers flipping lit cigarette butts out their window while driving. I guess they don’t want to put them out in the ashtray because it might stink up their cars and trucks.
God bless you, Dan Cathy and Chick-fil-A. You are my kind of people. I admire you for standing up for your principles in life and in business. You’ve given me hope.
Way to go, straight people. Let’s show the gay community just exactly how many chicken sandwiches we can eat.
Reasonable Republicans had better get out and vote on Tuesday unless they want this state to become the republic of Brownbackistan.
Sen. Jean Schodorf is a RINO (Republican in name only) endorsed, funded and controlled by liberal PACs, unions and special interest groups. Why doesn’t she just be honest with her district and run as a Democrat?
It is interesting that the big contributors to Jeff Longwell’s campaign are businesses and developers that are at City Hall with their hands out asking for and getting our tax dollars for their use. If he wins, they will be after Sedgwick County’s tax dollars.
Longwell sent out a negative mailer in an attempt to win support by casting a shadow on a true representative of the people who has served us well on the County Commission, Karl Peterjohn.
If Jeff Easter truly believes that the culture of covering up rude, bad behavior has changed within the Wichita Police Department, he is not smart enough to be Sedgwick County sheriff.
I am disappointed that Easter would focus on something that Sheriff Bob Hinshaw can’t comment on. Easter has proved himself to be a true mudslinging politician. I know that Hinshaw’s actions have spoken louder than words.
I really appreciated the voting brochure put out by the Kansans for Life political action committee, so I know whom to vote against in the Republican primary.
The Kansans for Life PAC is showing the problem with being a one-issue voter. It has chosen to back a vastly inferior candidate in the Sedgwick County district attorney’s race (Kevin O’Connor). KFL loses credibility with such shortsighted decisions.
I dislike campaign phone calls anyway. But I will definitely remember Marc Bennett’s call at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday, and it won’t be in a positive manner.
