Examine your own ticket to paradise. It just might be fake.
This country’s No. 1 need is more jobs. President Obama’s lawyers, however, defend the proposed DREAM Act, which would grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. We will never solve America’s jobs problem as long as we wink at the flood of illegals.
The left complains that looking into Obama’s past is not politically correct. The comments by his pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, do bring scrutiny. Our president has never objected to Wright’s unpatriotic raving.
Mitt Romney’s economic policies are the same as George W Bush’s. And they won’t work any better for him.
I wonder if any elected official read any or all of the Obamacare bill before voting on it. I suspect not.
From the people who brought you the Spanish Inquisition, a rally for religious freedom. The Catholic Church – all for religious freedom, as long as it is theirs.
What was the male-to-female ratio of attendees at the Catholic rally in Topeka?
If Obama realizes he can’t be re-elected, he will probably simply say we won’t have an election this time. He’ll just say, “We now live in a kingdom and I am king.” The current U.S. Supreme Court probably will say, “that is true. Support our king.”
I guess Gov. Sam Brownback assumes he was elected king of Kansas instead of governor. It’s time to get him out of office before he totally wrecks the great state of Kansas,
After the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Obamacare, Brownback said “Stopping Obamacare is now in the hands of the American people. It begins with electing a new president this fall.” I say: Let’s elect a new governor and get rid of KanCare. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
I would like to thank my neighbors for the mess they left behind from the firecrackers that must have lasted 10 minutes solid, and the mess that blew into my yard and the other neighbors’ yard. My neighborhood looked like a war zone. Why not outlaw fireworks rather than see another home burn down? People, get a clue.
I did not appreciate the fireworks. My husband, my animals and I were held hostage by the fireworks until midnight. Please change the ordinance so it’s illegal to shoot fireworks after 10 p.m. on July Fourth. Some people do have to go to work the next day.
The firework laws have been outdated for many years in Wichita. If we can’t control it anyway, let’s make money from it and enjoy it, like the rest of the county. We won’t need a phone line just for complaints.
