Do you remember the Disney movie “Bambi”? Wild fires in Colorado and other states are taking a terrible toll on the animals and birds in the forests. When in these sacred places, use extreme caution with any form of fire.
It seems ironic – the conservatives vilifying Chief Justice John Roberts for upholding Obamacare, a duly passed law, are probably the same folks who cry foul when “activist” judges overturn a law.
I have great concern about Obama’s misguided policies, which are leading this country into unsustainable debt. Why can’t he realize that there are many people who know more about governing this country? Why doesn’t he seek their advice and follow it?
If Kris Kobach gets his wish and sends everyone back to Mexico, who will work in the dairies, packing plants and poultry operations, or help on family farms? Everyone had better get ready for huge price increases on most produce, all dairy products, and beef, pork, chicken and turkey.

My heart is very sad to learn of the passing of Andy Griffith. His show was my all-time favorite. I watch it more, thanks to DVDs, than anything on TV today. Once again he is sitting on the front porch with Aunt Bee and Barney. Thank you, Andy.
