Teachers have a stranglehold over our public schools. It is way past time that we rose up and stopped this injustice. As long as we allow teachers’ pay to be based on seniority rather than performance, our kids’ education will continue to be lousy.
Our local high school administrators no longer celebrate academics and intelligence. They celebrate football. Why are they spending so much time testing our children if they are not going to use or read the results?
