Riots have alerted Europeans that an unrestricted surge of illegal immigrants is not only costly but also destroying their culture. We wonder if Americans will realize that we must close our borders before riots break out here.
Has anyone else noticed that since Inauguration Day, it’s become impossible for the president to be responsible for anything bad that happens? During the previous eight years, the president was responsible for everything, down to a loose tooth.
Never miss a local story.
In the 2008 election, people voted for hope and change. So now are they voting to affirm 16 percent real unemployment, a federal deficit to bankrupt our economy and higher taxes? I don’t get it.
When will Americans realize that Republicans and Democrats are just a front to keep us from the truth about who is really in control of the government? The person who will get elected president is the one who will say “yes” the most.
The recent sewage that spewed from the mouth of Rush Limbaugh was so foul that even the most strident attempts to clear it away will never rid Rush and his believers of its powerful stench.

I show a photo ID to board a plane and to cash a check because those are not guaranteed rights. I should not show a photo ID to vote because it is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution for all U.S. citizens.
If you want to know the impact of all the recent Kansas public education budget cuts, talk to your local school principal. Don’t take your information from the Kansas Policy Institute.
