Does anyone understand all the fuss over the Iowa caucus? After all, it’s only one of Obama’s 57 states.
So John McCain endorses Mitt Romney for president. This is the same guy who chose Sarah Palin as his running mate.
Never miss a local story.
The headline read, “Santorum, Romney finish Iowa caucus nearly tied” (Jan. 4 Eagle). Romney was ahead by a handful of votes, plus the letter “R” comes before the letter “S” in the alphabet. Might one suspect a subtle bias on the part of The Eagle, especially when the photographs placed Santorum above Romney, and the pictures were obviously different in size?
When God asked Michele Bachmann to run for president, he thought she understood that he was just joking.
To the person who apologized to Obama for the entire country: Speak for yourself and please do not try to speak for me, as I do not agree with you.
Hundreds of billions of dollars of our money have been wasted on solar and other Obama failures, along with the corrupt Wall Street group. Why has no one gone to jail? Why won’t the liberal Obama media do any stories about this?
Yes, George W. Bush agreed to a timetable to remove all U.S. troops from Iraq, but it was Barack Obama who actually made it happen. It’s the difference between declaring “mission accomplished” and actually accomplishing something.
So we lowered the flag in Iraq. What is the last war the USA won? Oh, yes, Grenada. I think if we are going to put our troops in harm’s way, we should go all out to win. No more playing war and not finishing the job, like Korea, Vietnam and now Iraq and soon Afghanistan. Better yet, let the politicians from all countries concerned settle it face-to-face. Last one standing gets a mint julep.
The U.S. government runs the biggest pyramid scheme there is – taxes.
Amend the Constitution. Corporations have unlimited influence over our elections. Get the money out of campaign finance.
While watching the antics of today’s global-warming Don Quixotes, Cervantes (now in heaven, we hope) must be slapping his forehead and groaning, “Why, oh, why didn’t I think of that?”
Three homicides over New Year’s weekend in Wichita. Yep, violent crime is dropping for sure.
Way to go, Second Amendment misinterpreters. Locally two people are dead in what in the old days would have been punch-in-the-nose altercations. And in the Northwest, a park ranger was killed by a nut who just couldn’t own enough phallic-symbol armament.
It’s nobody’s business how I spend my Vision card.
No wonder there are so many people driving like maniacs on Kellogg. They are fundamentalist Christians rushing to meet their Maker.
Now people who aid illegal immigrants can also be punished, just like the Nazis punished people who aided Jews.
“Don’t sweat the petty stuff, and don’t pet the sweaty stuff.” Best. Advice. Ever.
I find it extremely discouraging to walk into an upscale boutique only to be completely ignored by the entire staff.
