Facebook is destroying lives. People take things wrong. I have been bullied on Facebook because of what I believe in. People need to realize how much they can hurt others by their words, and by blocking and backstabbing them.
If the smokers showed a little more consideration of the nonsmokers, they wouldn’t get dirty looks.

The people who will not push their empty shopping carts to the proper storage area are just plain lazy. There may not be any wind when you leave the cart where you were parked. But the moment you drive away, a big gust will push that cart into another person’s vehicle.

It would be a good idea for more senior citizens to get involved with mentoring schoolchildren. Both would benefit so much from it, especially seniors who have no family around.

In 1960, candidate John F. Kennedy promised that if elected, he would not allow his religious beliefs to influence his decision making. Today’s candidates trumpet the fact that their decisions will most certainly be influenced by their religious beliefs. The former is preferred.
As the situation warranted, President Bush would have met and worked with the Iraqi leader to keep more troops in Iraq in order to maintain what our military fought so hard to attain. President Obama considers his re-election first and foremost. Sad.
It is apparent that Obama has no idea what real people are going through in these trying times. It is not being presidential to spend $4 million on a vacation while many others in this country are barely hanging on.
Why can’t they take the laws they use to prosecute organized crime and use them to prosecute Congress?
I received a mailing from Rep. Mike Pompeo telling how he introduced a bill that would end an Environmental Protection Agency fellowship program that trains environmental activists. With lawmakers like Pompeo around, we need all the environmental activists we can get.
