Keep in mind that Barack Obama had both houses of Congress for the first two years of his presidency and did absolutely nothing to help the country.
Only a liar would need a billion dollars to get re-elected as president.
With entertainers masquerading as Republican presidential candidates, it looks like we are going to have Obama for another term. Maybe this is what the corporate masters of America really want.
As a fiscal conservative Republican, I realize President Obama inherited big budget problems created by the Bush Republicans. It is too bad our current president proceeded to make matters even worse.
The Occupy Wall Street movement was started, organized and led by community organizers. We all know who the community organizer-in-chief is who encouraged this from the start with his class-warfare rhetoric, don’t we?
The latest roadblock in Congress proves that Mark Twain was right when he said, “Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.”
When is the Democratic Party going to get real and change its name to the Socialist Party?
The rich declared war on the poor the day they got laws passed that favored the rich and hurt the poor.
With a Republican governor, a Republican Kansas Senate and House, two Republican senators and all Republican congressmen, I’m sure that the eternally wise voters of Kansas will find some way to blame the Boeing situation on the Democrats.
Why would Boeing leave? Strike, strike, strike. Thanks, Machinists union president Steve Rooney.
The Boeing tanker “deal” is a fine example of government time and resources expended on corporate welfare, only to come up completely empty. Too bad. At least with previous deals, taxpayers were left with a white elephant to feed for their efforts.
My predictions: We lose Boeing. Within one year, we lose McConnell Air Force Base. Within one year of that, we lose the VA hospital. We have unionized and taxed every large, productive business right out of Wichita.
The bigger the company, the bigger the greed of upper management. Boeing does not care about any of us. Neither does Walmart.
A letter writer who complained that he couldn’t find a cop after his car had been vandalized downtown had no reason to gripe. All he needed to do was drift through a stop sign or turn into the wrong lane, and a cop would have shown up.
I hope the casino in Mulvane generates astronomical revenues while the residents of Sedgwick County wallow in jealousy, thinking of what could have been.
Has Bill Self been hanging out playing golf with Frank Martin lately? The way Self was chewing out his team against Davidson, you’d think so.
I was glad to see Kansas lose to Davidson, because it scheduled the game in Kansas City’s Sprint Center and didn’t televise it on a Kansas TV station. Six games were scheduled to be broadcast on ESPNU, which is not available to a lot of viewers.
Does this mean God loves Brady better than Tebow?
