Regarding "Limbaugh's truth" (Oct. 23 Letters to the Editor): Rush Limbaugh loves Jesus so conservatives will buy into his hate and propaganda. There are a lot of people who claim to love Jesus, but few are Christ-like. Last time I checked, Jesus didn't preach hate.

It's disturbing to see liberals condemn Fox News for its conservative pundits, yet offer not a word about the leftist pundits on CNN and MSNBC.

No one government party caused the problems America is having. The American people caused the problems. We are ignorant, lazy and obese. One leads to the other. We don't produce anything.

In August 2008, Obama said about health care reform: "We'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies." Rep. Joe Wilson was right: Obama is lying.

I've worked for local government for more than 20 years and have insurance. I'm anxious for the public option, because my premiums and co-pays are killing me financially. I'm not lazy and wanting anyone to pick up a tab.

A bulletin dated Aug. 6, 2001, titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.," lay totally ignored on Condoleezza Rice's desk while President Bush was in Crawford, Texas, clearing brush for a photo-op. It seems a shame they didn't do something before the Sept. 11 attacks to keep the United States safe.

On one hand you've got Fox News and on the other hand you've got state-run media.

Marijuana should be legalized. Everyone knows that the tax revenue would be enormous, but the part most people overlook is the money we would save not fighting it. It would not only free up police to get real criminals but would free up some much-needed room in our prison system.

Wichita needs a dam at the John Mack Bridge. That would do more to beautify the city than all the other things the City Council proposes to do to spend the taxpayers' money.
