If the government can tell Wall Street firms what their executives' pay will be since they took bailout money, what makes you think the government wouldn't control your life if you took any money from it? Big Brother is starting out very slowly, but it's here.

The Obama administration has moved to cut the pay at companies that received bailout money for mismanaging their businesses. That's a great idea. Now taxpayers should do the same to Congress.

How soon before President Obama decides what your compensation will be for the work you do?

Dick Cheney should have simply left town, like George W. Bush did. The more he criticizes Obama, the more he shows us his mistakes.

The solution to jail overcrowding is so simple. Probably half of the inmates are awaiting trial. If we sped up the court system, we wouldn't have jail overcrowding.

I would encourage everyone to go see "Wicked." It is well worth the money, an absolutely awesome production.

The review of "Wicked" (Oct. 23 GO!) failed to mention that the sound system in Century II was so bad that it was almost impossible for those beyond the fifth row to understand most of what was said.
