Maybe you are tired of hearing people trash our president. I am tired of our president trashing my country.

Prayer of the Republican business owner: "Lord, grant that if ever my company is accused of covering up a rape, Sens. Sam Brownback and Pat Roberts are on the jury."

We should be more than concerned when our government starts telling Americans what is and isn't news.

A lot of people get college degrees because they can memorize everything they hear or read but they have no common sense. They can't think for themselves.

I'm a 100 percent Cherokee Indian and I wish all of you would leave my country. You have totally destroyed everything that we made in this beautiful country. So quit your arguing and get out.

Death penalty cases would go a lot faster if a murderer was granted one appeal to the state and one to the Supreme Court and then had his sentence carried out. Twenty years to execute someone is way too long.

We have another dead baby in Wichita. What is wrong with parents here? Do any of these parents have anybody to help them? This is an outrage. These babies are dying. What can we do?

Hooray for Sedgwick County Fire Marshal Tim Millspaugh on his fight for common sense regarding fireworks. It's about time somebody realized that fireworks should be as important as the celebration of independence itself. Keep up the good work.

Fireworks are a polluting tradition that's got to go.

It doesn't matter whether or not there is a ban on fireworks. There are always some nutcases who push the limits.

I think it's time the police started handing out tickets around the 47th Street South road project. Too many people ignore the posted speed limits.

To the law firm that posted an employment ad for a "bookkeeper with a degree": Please know the position is called an "accountant." Duh.
