Finding a good salsa to cook with is a matter of individual taste. Generally speaking, I prefer chunkier types like the black bean and corn salsa used in this burger recipe. But I'm also always on the lookout for sales and new varieties.
Ingredients
1 cup black bean and corn salsa or other favorite chunky store-bought salsa
1 ½ lbs. ground beef
4 to 6 slices cheese
4 to 6 sandwich buns
Directions
Mix 1 cup salsa and beef thoroughly into a bowl. Shape into 4 to 6 patties, depending on desired size. Cook over medium-high heat about 10 minutes or until desired doneness is reached, topping with cheese near end of cooking time.
Serve with more salsa or other favorite condiments.
