ASPARAGUS CHEESE DIP

Still looking for a dish to take to a Super Bowl party? Here's a recipe from Paula Deen. Since all the ingredients wind up in a food processor, I think you could probably substitute canned asparagus for fresh if desired.

Ingredients

4 oz. cream cheese

4 oz. goat cheese

1 lb. fresh asparagus spears, steamed until tender and cut into 1-inch pieces

3 tablespoons dill, chopped

1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded and roughly chopped

4 dashes of hot sauce

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Veggie sticks, for dipping

Directions

Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until thoroughly combined. Salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with veggie sticks.
