Lots of specials

Brent at Extraordinaire Salon and Boutique in Lincoln Heights Village at Oliver and Douglas invites everyone to an open house Saturday. Lots of hair products will be 25 percent off. All boutique merchandise will be at least 10 percent off with some items marked down to half price. Pedicures will be "buy one get one half off." Customers will have several chances to win a hair cut and color in several drawings during the day. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served. Plus, anyone who brings in a donation to benefit the Wichita Children's Home will get an additional 10 percent off any boutique item.

Gearing up for 'Black Friday'

Across the street from Lincoln Heights Village at 4730 E. Douglas, Brooke at The Pink Saloon is excited about Black Friday on Nov. 27. The store will open at 9 a.m. that day, giving away cool metallic shopping bags that are reusable. But here's the good part: You'll get 20 percent off any and everything you can stuff in that bag! The special sale will end at noon. The bags will be given away as long as the supply lasts.

It starts tomorrow

James and Monica at Aspen Boutique, Douglas and Oliver, want to thank their customers, so they're having a customer appreciation sale beginning Wednesday and going through Nov. 25. That means 15 percent off prices storewide. Might as well start shopping for the holidays.

Passing on blessings

The gals at K-Lane's, 600 S. Tyler, say they have felt blessed during this past year, so they want to thank their customers for supporting their business.

Anyone who donates gently used children's coats, gloves and warm winter clothing to the store will get 30 percent off clothing and jewelry starting today through Friday.

The special promotion doesn't include Brighton or consignment jewelry pieces.

Also, if you have a November birthday, show your valid ID and get 25 percent off one item during this month.

Winter glow

Glisten Sunless Tanning, 2243 N. Tyler, Suite 517, is offering $20 tans for the entire month of November. For more special offers, you can visit the store's Web site at www.GlistenSunlessTan.com.

Five bucks and less

Accessory City, 2121 N. Rock Road, has two giant bins of handbags priced at $5 each. If you like to get shoes on sale, warm-weather styles are priced low, from $3 to $5, just in time for your holiday cruise.
