Unseasonably warm temperatures continue in Wichita on Monday, forecasters say, with sunny skies and highs climbing into the 60s.
Winds will be light today, staying in the single digits out of the northwest. Overnight lows will fall in to the mid-30s, with clouds moving in through the early morning hours.
Those clouds will deliver a chance of rain Tuesday morning, forecasters say. Highs will top out in the low 50s — still several degrees above normal for mid- to late January.
Skies will gradually clear late Tuesday afternoon, with winds staying light and variable. Cooler air arrives behind the front, forecasters say, dropping highs Wednesday and Thursday into the 40s.
