The National Weather Service has produced maps showing the location of tornado reports Friday’s stormy weather across central and eastern Kansas.
The tornadoes first began dropping in Barber and Pratt counties in mid-afternoon before the line of storms moved east. More tornadoes formed in Reno, Chase, Lyon and Morris counties.
No damage or injuries have been reported yet in connection with any of the tornadoes.
Nearly two dozen tornadoes were reported Friday night around Kansas, according to the Storm Prediction Center. At least some of those reports may be multiple views of the same tornado.
