Wichita weather: Plenty of clouds, not much wind

Tuesday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid-80s, forecasters say. Winds will be light and variable, staying in the single digits.

A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives early Wednesday morning, forecasters say, when lows will be in the upper 60s and winds will be out of the south-southeast in the single digits.

Chances for rain improve on Wednesday, with highs in the mid-80s under cloudy skies. There may be some rain in the Wichita area on Thursday, forecasters say, but chances won’t be as good as they were on Wednesday.
