Wichita weather: Sunny, warm and a break from the wind

Another day of 90s is in the forecast for Wichita, forecasters say, but the region will get a break from the gusty winds that have been prevalent much of the week.

South winds will be in the single digits much of the time on a sunny day in the area. Overnight lows will stay in the 70s under mostly clear skies.

The weekend will be sunny with highs in the 90s, forecasters say. A chance of showers and thunderstorms returns Sunday night.
