Expect warmer temperatures but also more wind in the Wichita area on Thursday, forecasters say.
Highs are likely to reach the upper 30s on a sunny day, with south-southeast winds in the teens. Gusts could reach 25 miles an hour at times. Overnight lows will settle in the mid-20s under partly cloudy skies.
Friday may see temperatures jump to the 50s, forecasters say, with partly cloudy skies and light southerly winds. The weekend is shaping up to offer a mixture of precipitation, with rain, sleet and snow possible in the Wichita area.
