Early morning showers should leave the Wichita area around sunrise, forecasters say, making way for a pleasant – if muddy – Sunday.
Highs are expected to top out in the low 70s on a cloudy day, with north winds in the teens and gusts reaching the mid-20s. Those north winds will make the night feel rather crisp, when lows drop to the low 50s.
Monday night will be even cooler, when the temperature falls into the 40s after a sunny day in the low 70s. The next several days should be dry, forecasters say, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70s to low 80s.
