A Lindsborg teenager was pronounced dead Sunday after a fiery two-vehicle crash southwest of Salina, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.
Owen L. O’Dell, 15, of Lindsborg was driving a 1990 Chevrolet pickup truck south on K-141 a few miles west of Marquette when the vehicle crossed the center line, the report said, and collided with a Ford pickup driven by a 30-year-old Lindsborg man.
The crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Garrett W. Scritchfield, the driver of the Ford, was transported to Salina Regional Health Center after the crash. He was later transferred to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita.
Kayla A. Scritchfield, 30, and 4-year-old Maelah Scritchfield, passengers in the Ford, were also transported to Salina Regional with injuries, the report said.

Two-month-old Ava Scritchfield was transported to Salina Regional, though she was not listed with an injury. After being struck, the Chevy came to rest in a ditch and was fully engulfed in flames, the report said.
John Berggren, a spokesman for Salina Regional, said Monday afternoon that Kayla and Maelah Scritchfield were still at the hospital but were likely to be released, possibly before the end of the day.
A Via Christi spokeswoman said Garrett Scritchfield remained in critical condition at St. Francis as of Monday afternoon.
