Several clinics in Wichita offer care for uninsured, underinsured or low-income patients. Some require proof of income. Call for hours and availability.

Center for Health and Wellness

Provides medical and behavioral health services on a sliding fee scale. 2707 E. 21st St., 316-691-0249.

E. C. Tyree Health Clinic

Provides medical and dental services. Accepts most insurance plans. People without insurance may be eligible for discounts. 1525 N. Lorraine, lower level of St. Mark United Methodist Church, 316-681-2545.

GraceMed

Accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. People without insurance are charged on a sliding scale. For medical and dental appointments, call 316-866-2000.

Good Samaritan Clinic, 3701 E. 13th St. Offers medical services.

Mother Mary Anne Clinic, 1131 S. Clifton.

Dodge Family Clinic, 4910 W. First St. Offers medical and dental services.

Guadalupe Clinic

Offers medical services for low-income residents who have no insurance. Call 316-264-8974. $5 requested per visit. Proof of income required.

Hunter Health Clinic

Accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and uninsured patients. Low-income patients with insurance are charged copays on a sliding scale.

Main office, 2318 E. Central, 316-262-2415. For dental services call 316-269-0677. Open until 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. Offers medical, ob/gyn, dental, optometry, diabetes care, mental health counseling and substance abuse counseling.

Brookside Satellite, 2750 S. Roosevelt, 316-652-0152. Medical services only.

Inter-Faith Ministries, 935 N. Market, 316-858-1151. Medical services only.

Mayflower Clinic

Started by immigrant medical health professionals to help the working uninsured and recently laid-off workers who do not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare. The clinic is open on Saturdays and the first and second Sundays of each month. Donations accepted. 209 E. William, Suite 104. Call for appointment, 316-558-3991.

Medical Service Bureau

Offers vouchers for prescription drugs, diabetic supplies, Medicare Part D copays, prescription eye glasses and reduced-cost eye exams for low-income people who live or work in Sedgwick County. Also helps clients obtain prescription medications from pharmaceutical companies. 1530 S. Oliver, Suite 130, 316-683-7559.

Planned Parenthood

Accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance and uninsured patients. Some fees on a sliding scale based on income. Donations accepted. Offers women’s and men’s health care, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing, pregnancy services, birth control, emergency contraception and abortion referrals. 2226 E. Central, 316-263-7575.

Sedgwick County Health Department

Offers immunizations, family planning, health screening, HIV testing and women’s health services. 2716 W. Central. 316-660-7300.
