Although Election Day, Nov. 2, is two weeks away, you can cast your vote at the ballot box beginning today.
Advance voting opens at the Sedgwick County Election Office, 510 N. Main, Suite 101. The hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Friday and Oct. 25-29; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 30; and 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 1.
Beginning Oct. 26, you'll be able to vote in advance at 15 additional sites around the county.
Voters will choose a governor, U.S. senator, congressman, county commissioners and legislators. They also will decide whether to approve state constitutional amendments on individual gun rights and voting rights for people with mental illness.
