The economy may have gone into the tank four years ago, but people did not.
They aren’t having as much fun as they used to, but they are coping.
And although the rocky economy may be foremost in the minds of voters as Tuesday’s election approaches, people who live in Wichita aren’t relying on an election for help.
They are dealing with the economy in their own ways. Eliminating luxury items from their budgets. Sticking close to home. Focusing on necessities, paying down debt and saving as best they can.
Inside, you’ll meet people of different financial circumstances who are every day meeting the challenge of living in this uncertain economy.
They are, for the most part, riding over the bumpy financial terrain with resilience and optimism.
