    Dominic Canare used the unique opportunity of Monday's total solar eclipse to propose to his girlfriend, Rosalind Herkommer. The couple were in northeast Kansas to experience the eclipse's path of totality. During the 2 1/2 minutes of darkness caused by the moon's shadow, Canare got down on one knee and proposed.
