The Sedgwick County Health Department has received more H1N1 vaccine, in the injection and nasal spray versions, and will begin offering both forms today.
The Health Department also is expanding the groups eligible for the vaccine.
Beginning today, the clinic at 4031 E. Harry will be open to people who are in one of these groups:
* Pregnant women
* Health care workers
* Caregivers of and those who share households with infants younger than 6 months of age
* Children age 6 months to 4 years old
* Children 5 to 18 who have underlying chronic medical conditions.
The vaccine clinic will be open from 2 to 7 p.m. daily through Saturday or until vaccine supplies are depleted.
The groups eligible for the vaccine are those considered most at risk for complications from the H1N1 virus. It is a list developed by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
