The record: The price of average airfares out of various U.S. cities based on information compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
Why you'd want it: To learn more about how airfares in and out of Wichita Mid-Continent Airport compare with other airports.
Where you get the records: Go to www.bts.gov. Then click on "Airfares" in the "Airlines and Airports" menu. Then scroll down and click on the link to search for average fares at up to three of the top 100 airports and eight metropolitan areas.
How much it will cost: The information is free.
