WICHITA — Kay's This N' That turned 40 Oct. 1, and owner Kay Hettenbach says it's time to call it quits.
"Well, we would like to retire," she says. "We don't know when this is going to happen, but I do have the business up for sale.
"Do you want to buy it?"
Hettenbach says costume rentals and sales are strong.
"Right now it's very good," she says. "Actually, we stay pretty steady all year long."
The store sells all kinds of accessories for costumes as well.
Hettenbach says there always seem to be parties, holidays, "school book reports and things like that going on" that require costumes or accessories.
She's been in her building at Second and Anna, which also is for sale, all four decades she's been in business.
