The Wildcat defense came out strong stopping the Knights end around on the first play from scrimmage and forcing a punt. UCF’s defense was strong as well as they stopped Carson Coffman on an option on the opening play and sacked him on third down.
The game is currently in a weather delay due to strong lightning and crazy looking clouds.
Start of the game:
Never miss a local story.
Coming to you live from Snyder Family Stadium on a cloudy Saturday morning.
K-State is expecting a sellout crowd for today’s game against Central Florida, and the tailgaters once again came out in force. Many of the parking lots surrounding the stadium were full one hour before kickoff.
We have about 15 minutes to go, and soldiers are walking a large assortment of flags onto the field. It is Fort Riley Day here, and two cannons in the end zone will make for some loud noises throughout the game.
K-State is looking to stay undefeated before it enters its bye week. Central Florida is looking to score a big nonconference victory. I predict the Wildcats to win 33-21.
