Mexican aerospace officials will be in Wichita Thursday to take part in a conference about Mexico’s aerospace industry.
The event, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Wichita hotel, is sponsored by Mexico Now magazine. The group had planned a similar conference for Wichita in April. It was canceled, however, because not enough had registered to attend.
Thursday’s program includes sessions on Mexico and its aerospace industry, the legal aspects of doing business in Mexico, financing industrial projects and cost model and case studies of manufacturing in Mexico.
A similar conference held in Dallas in August was met by picketing Machinists union members.
