By the end of October, Kansas State will have played in a NFL stadium, taken on a highly ranked opponent and been part of two Thursday night kickoffs.
But the Wildcats’ Oct. 30 game against Oklahoma State will still be a new experience for them. The Cowboys are the first high-powered offense K-State will see this season.
Mike Gundy’s team averaged more than 28 points per game last season, and eight times cracked the 30-point mark. And with new coordinator Dana Holgorsen brought in to call plays and develop a more explosive passing attack, those offensive numbers could increase in 2010. (more…)
