A summer heat wave shows no signs of easing its grip for the next few days, with highs in the mid-90s today under sunny skies and light southerly breezes in the single digits.
Overnight lows will bottom out in the mid-70s. More sunshine and highs in the mid- to upper 90s are expected Thursday, forecasters say. Southerly winds will be primarily in the single digits.
