Hawker Beechcraft’s Hawker 4000 has been certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency, the company announced.
“EASA certification bolsters the Hawker 4000’s already enthusiastic reception in the region,” Hawker Beechcraft president of sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa Sean McGeough said in a statement. The company currently has eight of the aircraft based in the region.
Hawker Beechcraft also announced an after market package for its Hawker 800XP. The package, called the Hawker 800XPR, boosts performance and capabilities by replacing the plane’s original engines and adding company-designed winglets.
The announcements were made in Geneva, Switzerland before the opening of the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition. The show runs Tuesday through Thursday.
