Clouds will persist today through the metropolitan Wichita area, forecasters say, but temperatures should nudge their way above the freezing mark.
Light southeasterly winds will help the temperature climb, accelerating melting from the snow storm earlier this week. Friday and Saturday should be even warmer, with highs in the low 40s.
But a fresh batch of cold air will drop temperatures again on Sunday.
