Today is shaping up to be the nicest day of a week that will remind Wichita that winter is still well-entrenched, forecasters say.
Highs in the mid-40s, with light winds and sunny skies are expected in the metropolitan area today, forecasters say. Winds will be less than 10 miles an hour, shifting from the northwest to the southeast during the day.
Lows tonight will dip near freezing, and Wednesday will see clouds – and northerly winds – increasing as the mercury peaks in the mid-40s. But freezing drizzle and snow can be expected in the area Wednesday night, forecasters say.
More snow is expected Thursday. Check updated forecasts for accumulation totals, and go to our weather page for current conditions.
