WICHITA — Fans of Japanese cuisine will soon have two new restaurants to choose from on the east side.
Tsu Basa is opening next month in the former Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pasta space at Eastgate Plaza at Kellogg and Rock.
The 1,700-square-foot restaurant will seat about 55 and be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Co-owner Hideo Hagen will offer traditional Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi and Japanese-style noodles. There will be a full bar as well.
Emperor's Japanese Grill, which has been on the west side for almost five years, is opening a new east-side grill Jan. 22.
