A second helping of warm, windy weather awaits Wichita today, forecasters say.
Partly cloudy skies and gusty south winds will accompany highs in the low 70s in the metropolitan area. Those winds may gust as high as 30 miles an hour.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible after midnight, and increase in likelihood Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Central Kansas could see light snow Wednesday and Thursday as much colder temperatures slide through the state behind the storm front, forecasters say. But no accumulation is anticipated.
