ABILENE — The Dwight Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum and the Quality of Life Coalition are cosponsoring a Kansas Town Hall forum on underage drinking Thursday.
Titled “Underage Drinking: What are the Consequences? What Can we Do Locally?,” the forum will bring together representatives from the legal, medical, education, insurance and alcohol/substance abuse fields.
“Most citizens are unaware of just how many areas of a family’s life can affected by underage drinking,” said Katie Allen, director of the Quality of Life Coalition.
The event will be free and open to the public.
It will begin at 7 p.m. at the Eisenhower Library, 200 SE 4th Street, Abilene.
