The Altoona Mirror recently published an incredibly well researched story about what college programs have pumped out the most starting quarterbacks in the NFL, and according to that research Kansas State is tops in the Big 12.
Thanks to the professional play of Steve Grogan (pictured above with the Patriots), Lynn Dickey, Dennis Morrison and Dan Manucci, the Wildcats can easily claim the title of Quarterback U in their conference.
Combined, Kansas State alums have started nearly 250 games in the NFL. No other Big 12 team can say their past players started even 200.
That’s a pretty wide margin. And with Josh Freeman joining the Tampa Bay Bucs, that margin may grow wider.
