A dense fog advisory has been issued for 14 counties in central Kansas – including the Wichita metropolitan area – until 11 a.m. today.
Visibility will be reduced to a quarter-mile or less, particularly in low-lying areas and near water.
Once the fog dissipates, highs are expected to reach the mid-60s under partly cloudy skies. Light northeast winds will linger in the single digits and then shift to the southeast later in the day.
A slight chance of showers will persist throughout the day, forecasters say, and rain will become more likely on Tuesday.
