Police seeking public’s help in solving convenience store robbery

The crime

Just after 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 7, a young man entered the TT Station convenience store at 1102 W. Maple. When the two employees witnessed him shoplifting and confronted him, the thief shoved the female employee and punched the male employee in the face. Then he ran out of the store, leaving his bicycle. Loss was minimal; the employees suffered minor injuries.

The suspect is described as white with a muscular build in his early 20s. He is about 5-foot-10 and weighing about 180 pounds. He has short blonde hair and was wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt with a white undershirt.
