Authorities seek help in metal theft in zoo parking lot

Between 11:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, someone cut the catalytic converter off a 1992 Toyota 4-Runner while it was parked at the Sedgwick County Zoo. As scrap metal crimes and thefts continue to increase in public areas, law enforcement is asking people to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity. Loss and damage is valued at more than $1,000.
