Sheriff’s Office seeks help in hit-and-run that destroyed radar trailer

Between 8:30 a.m. and noon on Sunday, Oct. 27, an unknown vehicle struck a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office radar trailer parked on the south side of the road near 5300 E. 47th St. South. The trailer, parked approximately three feet off the road, was moved 100 feet and destroyed. Loss is estimated at several thousand dollars. It's possible the trailer was hit by a Toyota pickup.
