The crime

The Wichita Police Department's Robbery Section is seeking information on a man thought to be responsible for a series of robberies last weekend. On Saturday, May 14, the QuikTrip at 1610 E. Lincoln was robbed at 11:47 p.m.; on Sunday, May 15, the QuikTrip at 3216 E. Harry was robbed at 6 a.m., and the Dollar General Store at 2747 E. Boulevard Plaza was robbed at 8:10 a.m.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 40s or 50s, 6-foot to 6-foot-2 and weighing 190 to 200 pounds. He has short wavy hair, a mustache and glasses. He was wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
