Sometime after midnight, someone entered the home and took a 50-inch television, cash, credit cards, financial documents, a watch, earrings, a cellphone and a child’s backpack containing school books. Estimated loss is $5,000.
Shortly before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, Sheriff’s deputies were called to a shooting in the 4600 block of South Brookhaven in Oaklawn. The victim, 23-year-old Welly Syakhasone, was taken to a hospital where he later died.
