Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that riddled a house with bullets in east Wichita late Wednesday night.
Residents of a house in the 5100 block of East Kensington reported hearing several shots fired at about 11:15 p.m., Lt. Joe Schroeder said. That’s northeast of 13th and Oliver and south of White Chapel Cemetery.
About 10 shots were fired, according to a police document, and several of them struck the house, Schroeder said. Six people – including two children under the age of 10 – were inside the residence at the time, though none of them were injured.
No vehicle or suspects were seen in connection with the shooting incident, Schroeder said.
